Internship on Anticorruption.

 

National Coordinator against Corruption, in cooperation with EU-funded project, Twinning against Corruption “Support to the formulation, coordination and implementation of anti-corruption policies in Albania”, invite all interested young professionals working as civil servants, to apply for a three months internship.

This internship, dedicated to three Albanian professionals/experts, will be offered, focused on the topics of programme development and provision of practical insights in the day-to-day implementation of programmes at IACA (International Anti-Corruption Academy)

The internship is on a full-time basis and take place at the IACA campus in Laxenburg, Austria.

Financing of this Internship will be provided by the EU-funded project “Support to the formulation, coordination and implementation of anti-corruption policies in Albania”.

 

According to the IACA requirements this Internship Programme is designed for young civil servants, recent graduates, wishing to develop and broaden their professional skills and gain working experience in an international environment. Therefore, the target group is young people in the beginning phase of their career.

The participants have to deliver to the NCAC a monthly report in English language about their activities during their internship.

 

Requirements:

The candidate must be a civil servant, graduated from university no more than five years prior to applying for this internship. Excellent command of the English language is required, as well as excellent computer capabilities (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

 

Candidates must also meet the following criteria:

Be proficient in the English language (well-developed oral communication and drafting skills).

A working knowledge of other languages is desirable.

Easily adapt to a multicultural working environment

Work effectively in a team as well as independently

Have: discretion, reliability, precision, honesty, and integrity

 

The three participants should represent:

A central government institution

An independent institution

A local government institution

The candidate’s application should include an up-to-date résumé or curriculum vitae, which also contains the names and contact details of two references who are familiar with his/her qualifications. The curriculum vitae should be accompanied by a concise cover letter (max. 400 words) outlining the applicant’s interest in the Internship Programme, relevant experience (academic and non-academic), and perceived benefit of completing an internship at IACA. Applicants are also asked to include their availability in the application package.
